Your Right to Data Deletion

As a Ma'ati Spa Ghana client, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. We respect your privacy choices and will process your deletion request in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request data deletion, we will remove the following information:

• Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, address, date of birth
• Booking History: All past and future appointment records
• Medical Information: Health intake forms and treatment notes
• Communication Records: WhatsApp messages, emails, and conversation logs
• Preferences: Service preferences, therapist requests, and special instructions
• Marketing Data: Consent records and communication preferences
• Photos/Videos: Any content featuring you (with your consent)

Information We Must Retain

Due to legal and regulatory requirements, we may need to retain certain information for a specified period:

• Financial Records: Payment transactions (required for tax and accounting purposes - 7 years)
• Legal Compliance: Records required by Ghana business and healthcare regulations
• Safety Records: Incident reports or safety-related documentation
• Fraud Prevention: Information needed to prevent fraudulent activities

This retained information will be securely stored with restricted access and will be deleted once the legal retention period expires.

How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data, please follow these steps:

   For security purposes, we need to verify your identity. Please provide your full name, email address, and phone number associated with your account.

   Submit Your Request
   Contact us using one of the methods below with your deletion request. Please include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line.

   Confirmation
   We will respond within 48 hours to confirm receipt of your request and provide an estimated timeline for completion.

   Review & Processing
   Our privacy team will review your request and begin the deletion process. This typically takes 10-30 business days.

   Completion Notice
   We will notify you once your data has been successfully deleted from our systems.

Facebook App Data Deletion

If you used Facebook to interact with our services or booking system, we can also delete data associated with your Facebook account:

• Facebook profile information used for bookings
• Messages sent through Facebook Messenger
• Any data collected through Facebook integrations

Please include your Facebook profile information or User ID in your deletion request if applicable.
